Product Overview: Built for Abuse

 

Standard rotary valves are fine for sawdust. But for Boiler Ash, Cement Clinker, or Sand, you need a Rigid Impeller Feeder. The term "Rigid" refers to the rotor construction: it is cast as a solid piece or welded with thick steel plates, designed to crush small lumps that would jam a standard valve.

Key Features: Outboard Bearings

 

The #1 cause of failure in heavy industry is dust entering the bearings or heat melting the grease.

  • The Solution: We use an Outboard Bearing Design. The bearings are mounted outside the main housing, separated by a gap and packing seals.
  • Benefit 1: If the seal leaks, dust falls on the ground, not into the bearing.
  • Benefit 2: It creates a thermal break, allowing the valve to handle materials up to 250°C - 400°C without cooking the bearing grease.

Anti-Jamming Design

 

  • Shear Angle Inlet: We design the inlet with a V-shape "shear point". If a rock gets caught between the blade and the housing, the Scissor-like action cuts it or pushes it aside, preventing the rotor from locking up.
  • Open-End Rotor: Prevents material from building up on the side plates of the rotor (Deep Pocket design).

Q: What is the max particle size it can handle?

A: It depends on the valve size. Generally, the particle size should be less than 10% of the inlet diameter to prevent jamming.

 

Q: Is the rotor replaceable?

A: Yes. The end covers can be removed to slide out the rotor for replacement or hard-facing repair without removing the entire valve body from the line.
