The "Airlock" Function: Why It Matters
If you are discharging fly ash or cement from a silo, you can't just open a hole. The pressure difference would blow dust everywhere.
Our Impeller Feeder acts as a dynamic seal.
- Precision Machining: The gap between the rotor blades and the cast iron housing is minimized to < 0.15mm.
- The Result: Material falls down, but air cannot blow up. This is essential for Negative Pressure systems (like baghouses) or Positive Pressure pneumatic conveying lines.
Heavy-Duty Cast Iron Construction
We don't use thin sheet metal. We use High-Grade Cast Iron (HT200) for both the housing and the rotor.
- Wear Resistance: Cast iron withstands the abrasion of dry powders better than mild steel.
- Rigidity: The heavy casing won't deform under the weight of the silo or vibration from the motor, ensuring the rotor never scrapes the wall.
- Standard Flanges: Available in Square (Type A) or Round (Type B) flanges to fit any hopper.

Customization Options
- High Temperature: For handling hot ash (> 200°C), we separate the motor from the valve body and use high-temp bearings.
- Rotor Tips: We can add Rubber or PU tips to the blades for better sealing with fine powders, or Hardened Steel tips for abrasive materials.
- Motor Type: Standard Direct Drive, Chain Drive (for shock absorption), or VFD controlled.
FAQ
Q: Square flange or Round flange?
A: We supply both. The Square Flange (Type A) is most common for dust collectors. The Round Flange (Type B) is common for silos. Please confirm your opening shape when ordering.
Q: Does it jam with large particles?
A: This feeder is designed for powders and small granules. If your material contains large lumps or rocks, please tell us. We will modify the rotor with a "Shear Angle" to prevent jamming.
