Impact idlers which can also call Buffer idlers are used at the receiving place of belt conveyor to reduce the impact of falling materials on the conveyor belt. They are mainly developed for corrosive environments such as coal washing plants, coking plants and chemical plants. They have more than 10 times the toughness of ordinary metals and five times the service life of traditional shoes. They are corrosion resistant, flame retardant, anti-static, light weight and other characteristics, and are widely used in mining. The special polymer material for the idler body has mechanical properties similar to bronze, good wear resistance, and good self-lubrication performance, without damaging the belt. The buffer idler has excellent anti-corrosion performance. The roller body and sealing parts are made of polymer materials, which are corrosion resistant. When used in corrosive situations, the service life can reach more than 5 times of that of ordinary idlers.
