Product Overview: The Backbone of Your Conveyor
The Troughing Idler is installed on the carrying side of the conveyor to support the belt and the material load. Standard sets consist of a center horizontal roller and two wing rollers tilted at an angle (usually 30°, 35°, or 45°).
The Hidden Danger: Cheap idlers often seize up after a few months. A seized roller doesn't just stop turning; it acts like a razor blade, wearing through the bottom cover of your expensive conveyor belt. Kunwei idlers are built to keep spinning.
Why Our Idlers Last Longer (The Sealing Technology)
The #1 cause of roller failure is dust entering the bearing. We use a Non-Contact Triple Labyrinth Seal:
- The Design: It creates a tortuous path that dust and water cannot navigate.
- The Grease: We pre-fill the bearing with Lithium-based grease that lasts the entire lifespan of the roller. No re-greasing is needed.
- The Result: Our idlers are water-proof and dust-proof, rated for 30,000 - 50,000 hours of operation.

Technical Specifications
- Standard Standards: CEMA (USA), DIN (Germany), JIS (Japan), GB (China).
- Trough Angles:
- 35° (Standard): Best balance of capacity and belt stress. Used in 90% of conveyors.
- 45° (Deep Trough): For light materials (grain, wood chips) to increase volume capacity.
- Roller Diameters: 89mm, 108mm, 133mm, 159mm.
- Bearing Type: HRB/SKF/FAG Deep Groove Ball Bearings (2RS/ZZ).
Material & Craftsmanship
Pipe: Special ERW steel pipe for conveyors with strict tolerance on roundness (Low TIR).
Shaft: Cold-drawn steel (C45) for high precision.
Housing: Cold-pressed steel housing welded by automatic double-gun welding machines (CO2 gas shielded) to ensure the bearing seat never cracks.

FAQ
Q: How do I measure an existing idler for replacement?
A: You need to measure 3 things: 1. The Shaft Length (overall and between slots); 2. The Pipe Diameter; 3. The Slot/Flat width on the shaft end. Or simply send us a photo with a ruler.
Q: What is TIR and why does it matter?
A: TIR (Total Indicator Runout) measures how "round" the roller spins. High TIR causes vibration, noise, and makes the belt "jump," leading to premature wear. Our idlers are tested to ensure low TIR (< 0.5mm).
