Screw machine is widely used in various industries, such as building materials, chemical industry, electric power, metallurgy, coal mining, grain and other industries, suitable for horizontal or inclined conveying of powdery, granular and small block materials, such as coal mine, ash, slag, cement, grain, etc., the material temperature is less than 200 °C. The screw machine is not suitable for conveying perishable, viscous and easy agglomerated materials. In the concrete batching plant, the role of screw conveyor has been maximally reflected.
(1) Screw conveyor is a kind of conveying equipment widely used in chemical, building materials, grain and other departments, mainly used to transport powdery, granular and small block materials. It is not suitable for conveying perishable, sticky and agglomerated materials.
(2) The ambient temperature of the screw conveyor is -20~50 °C; The inclination angle of the conveyor β≤ 20°; The conveying length is generally less than 40m, and the longest is not more than 70m.
(3) Compared with other conveying equipment, screw conveying has the advantages of simple structure, small cross-sectional size, good sealing performance, intermediate multi-point loading and unloading, safe and convenient operation and low manufacturing cost. Its disadvantages are that the wear of the parts is serious, the conveying capacity is low, the power consumption is large, and the material is easy to be crushed during transportation.
