The belt is mistracked
In order to solve such faults, it is important to pay attention to the dimensional accuracy of installation and daily maintenance. There are many reasons for mistracking, which need to be dealt with differently according to different reasons.
1. Adjust the belt of the belt carrying idler group belt machine to adjust the misalignment when the middle of the entire belt conveyor is misaligned; During manufacturing, the mounting holes on both sides of the idler set are machined into long holes for adjustment. The specific adjustment method is which side the belt is biased, which side of the idler group moves forward in the forward direction of the belt, or the other side moves backward.
2. Install the aligning idler set. There are many types of aligning idler sets, such as intermediate rotating shaft type, four-link type, vertical roller type, etc., and its principle is to use blocking or idler rotation in the horizontal plane direction, block or generate lateral thrust, so that the belt automatically centripetalizes to achieve the purpose of adjusting the belt misalignment. Generally, it is more reasonable to use this method when the total length of the belt conveyor is short or when the belt conveyor is running in both directions, because the shorter belt conveyor is more likely to misalign and is not easy to adjust. It is best not to use this method for long belt conveyors, because the use of aligning idler sets will have a certain impact on the service life of the belt.
3. Adjust the position of the drive drum and the reversing drum. The adjustment of the drive drum and the reversing drum is an important part of belt misalignment adjustment. Because a belt conveyor has at least 2 to 5 rollers, the installation position of all rollers must be perpendicular to the center line of the length of the belt conveyor, and if the deflection is too large, misalignment will inevitably occur. The adjustment method is similar to adjusting the idler group. For the head roller such as the belt to the right side of the drum, the right side of the housing should be moved forward, the belt to the left side of the drum, the left side of the housing should be moved forward, and the corresponding left housing can also be moved back or the right housing back. The tail roller is adjusted in the opposite way to the head roller. Adjust the method. Adjust repeatedly until the belt is adjusted to the ideal position. It is best to install the exact position of the drum before adjusting the drive or reversing its direction.
4. Adjustment of tensions. The adjustment of belt tension is a very important part of the belt conveyor misalignment adjustment. The two reversing rollers in the upper part of the heavy hammer tension, in addition to being perpendicular to the length of the belt, should also be perpendicular to the vertical line of gravity, that is, ensure that the axis center line is horizontal. When using screw tensioning or hydraulic cylinder tensioning, both housings of the tensioning drum should be translated at the same time to ensure that the drum axis is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the belt. The specific belt misalignment adjustment method is similar to the adjustment at the drum.
5. The influence of the blanking position at the transfer point on the belt mistracking. The blanking position of the material at the transfer point has a great influence on the misalignment of the belt, especially when the projection of the two belt machines in the horizontal plane is vertical. The relative height of the upper and lower belt machines at the transfer point should generally be considered. The lower the relative height, the greater the horizontal velocity component of the material, the greater the lateral impact on the lower belt, and it is difficult to center the material. Deflect the material on the belt cross-section, eventually causing the belt to mistrack. If the material deviates to the right, the belt deviates to the left and vice versa. In the design process, the relative height of the two belt machines should be increased as much as possible. In the space-limited mobile bulk material conveying machinery, the form and size of the upper and lower funnel, guide chute and other parts should be carefully considered. Generally, the width of the guide chute should be about two-thirds of the belt width. In order to reduce or avoid belt mistracking, the baffle can be added to block the material and change the falling direction and position of the material.
6. Two-way running belt conveyor misalignment adjustment. The adjustment of belt misalignment of belt conveyor running in both directions is relatively difficult than the adjustment of misalignment of one-way belt conveyor, and one direction should be adjusted first and then adjusted in another direction. When adjusting, carefully observe the relationship between the direction of belt movement and the deviation trend, and adjust them one by one. The focus should be on the adjustment of the drive drum and the reversing drum, followed by the adjustment of the idler and the adjustment of the blanking point of the material. At the same time, it should be noted that the force on the belt section length should be uniform when vulcanizing the joint, and the force on both sides should be as equal as possible when the guide chain is used.

Handling of scattering
The spreading of belt conveyors is a common problem, and the reasons are also many. However, the focus is still to strengthen daily maintenance and maintenance.
1. Spreading at the transfer point The spreading at the transfer point is mainly at the falling hopper, guide chute, etc. If the belt conveyor is seriously overloaded, the guide chute of the belt conveyor is damaged, and the steel plate at the guide chute is designed to be far from the belt, and the rubber skirt plate is relatively long so that the material is flushed out of the guide chute. The above situation can be solved in controlling the delivery capacity and strengthening maintenance.
2. Sprinkle when the concave belt is suspended When the radius of curvature of the concave section is small, the belt will be suspended, and the belt groove situation changes, because the belt has left the grooved idler group, and the general groove angle becomes smaller, so that part of the material is scattered. Therefore, a large radius of curvature should be used as much as possible in the design phase to avoid such situations. For example, in the mobile mechanical ship loader and stacker-reclaimer equipment, in order to shorten the tail car, the concave section here is designed as an arc-free transition interval, and it is easier to spread when the belt width selection margin is small.
3. Spreading when the belt is misaligned The spreading when the belt is misaligned is because the height of the two edges of the belt changes during operation, one side is high, and the other side is low, and the material is scattered from the low side, and the processing method is to adjust the misalignment of the belt.
